SAK

SYNOPSIS

In the fleeting moment when a flower blooms, a resonance bursts forth, breaking through the gap.
Two bodies share each other’s weight and narrow the distance,
beginning a conversation that flows upon the foundation of trust.

Within the quiet air, a subtle intimacy spreads,
and movements that suddenly burst forth become energy and scatter.

An unpredictable rhythm builds as they respond to one another,
at times deeply permeating, at times spreading wide,
until the two different bodies finally connect as a single resonance.

Buffalo Boy

SYNOPSIS

I see three paths in front of me and one behind,
but I already know I’m not going back.

The first path is straight and clear but goes on and on with no end in sight
and I could wander from place to place for years.

The second is a dirt track that several people have travelled before me,
those people were desperate and needy and spent their days begging.

The third looks dark and twists with bends,
the path is blocked by fallen trees.

It will take bravery and strength to travel this path,
but this is the one I wish to take.

Even though the idea of walking this path makes me feel like there’s a hole in my stomach,
I know that it is the right choice.
I will be heard.

Four-Handed Wind, Is It or Isn't It You, My Dear, Where Are You?

SYNOPSIS

Primal chaos grins—Hundun with a cracked crown.
A flower becomes ants, queens, princes, butterfly—
evolving, evolving, still becoming.

Desire’s wings kiss the wind and ask: what next?
Dark humor opens the room of relationships,
threading life stories, poems, and image-collage skin.

Cerebral palsy speaks in sensation—muscle, voice, time—
turning the present into a luminous mischief.

No answers, only arrival:
a thousand body-landscapes, here, now.

Kong Performance Experimental Field

Through an experimental aesthetic, 「Kong Performance Experimental Field」 explores soul-to-soul encounters within the infinite. In Daoist and Buddhist thought, “emptiness” is not void, but the source of boundless possibility—an alchemy from the finite to the limitless. Rooted in Taiwan’s island reality, they respond to globalization, consumer culture, and technological acceleration by shaping new values for our time. Beginning with daily life, they use performance as a living laboratory to examine relationships between self, others, nature, body, and mind. Led by artists and centered on disabled performers, they hold space for difference—where tension can coexist, listening becomes practice, and genuine meeting becomes possible.

6 Degrees

SYNOPSIS

A vast city rules by distant leaders,
six strangers live in isolation -
unaware of how closely their lives intertwine.

A protest erupts,
their world collide in a moment of resistance
a transformation sparks.

As walls are torn down
- both real and imagined -
a question arises:

What would our world look like if we truly reached for each other?

The Echoes of Our Touch

SYNOPSIS

Listening does not always begin with sound,
but with the quiet awareness between bodies.

Between Deaf and Hearing worlds,
a different rhythm emerges:
felt through vibration,
through gaze,
through the echo of touch.

In this shared space,
bodies listen, respond, and move together,
discovering a language
spoken without words.

Tree House: A Sanctuary in the Sky

SYNOPSIS

A treehouse is never only wood and nails,
but a quiet reaching between earth and sky.
Rooted in soil, yet lifted by dreams,
it holds the hush between hiding and becoming.

Within its frame live shelter and exposure,
solitude leaning gently into kinship,
childhood brushing against maturity.

Each body climbs with its own story,
finding, retreating, belonging —
building a home among the branches of time.

ALIH #5: Onion

SYNOPSIS

Between layers stacked one upon another,
two bodies of different patterns walk across a landscape
where endless questions and answers intersect.

A world that analyzes, categorizes, and names in order to define,
and within the cold language that tries to fix our identities,
the self slowly reveals its flesh, shedding layer after layer.

With each layer removed, what appears is
a soft, fragile core like an onion,
and at the end of that vulnerable truth, an essence is finally encountered.

Beyond the peel, in the deepest place,
we realize we have always been this pure.
